Located along Perth’s northern coastline, Ocean Reef Marina is set to become a vibrant recreational, residential and tourism precinct, delivering environmental, economic and social outcomes for the surrounding area.

The first stage of marine work – construction of two new breakwaters, approximately two-kilometres long and up to 18.5-metres high – is due for completion in August 2023. These significant structures contain more than 650,000 tonnes of limestone rocks and 300,000 tonnes of granite, with the majority of the limestone sourced locally from DevelopmentWA’s Neerabup quarry.
In December 2022, a $7 million funding boost for Perth’s first coastal pool at Ocean Reef Marina was announced. This funding will see the pool become an iconic destination, with an extended pool deck and the addition of an architecturally-designed hospitality building.
When complete, Ocean Reef Marina will include more than 1,000 homes, up to 12,000sqm of retail/commercial space, marine facilities and more than 5ha of community spaces.
